Kids and their families will be 'egg-static' when our Easter activities start in Aldridge, Bloxwich and Willenhall this weekend.

Walsall Council's district centre management team are working with Aldridge Village Partnership, Bloxwich Business Partnership C.I.C. and Willenhall Town Centre Partnerships to stage the events which are expected to draw more than 20,000 visitors over the weekend.

The fun starts on Thursday 24 March in Aldridge: a huge sand pit, boating pool with rowing boats and a giant inflatable will be amongst the attractions of the event - all free for children. On Saturday, the village will host an Easter Bonnet Parade from 2pm starting at the Gold Post-box. Organisers are expecting our biggest ever turn out, with over 45 stalls confirmed for each day and a full programme of performances from local groups and artists on the Saturday.

In Bloxwich the event takes place on Saturday 26 March from 11am, families can create their own Easter Bonnet at a free workshop in Promenade Gardens and enter the Easter Bonnet Parade Competition at 1pm. Children can help the Easter Bunny retrace his steps to find the lost Easter Eggs in a trail which starts at 9am and each completed trails will be entered into a prize draw at 1.30pm. Free Easter eggs will be handed out to children who successfully complete the Easter Trail! With Easter Community stalls, free face painting, and free entry on to the Reach Up Climbing Frame along with Easter Donkey rides and presence from the local Fire Service there's lots for all the family to be entertained.

Willenhall is running a free Easter Egg Hunt, with free Easter eggs handed out to all children who successfully complete the Easter Trail and we have a free Easter ride as well for the kids to enjoy!

Bloxwich and Willenhall events on Saturday start from 11am and concludes at 2pm while Aldridge is 10am till 4pm all three days.
