Our aim is to inform local organisations of the latest developments relating to external funding oportunities, assisiting the Voluntary and Community Sector, Schools, and Council service areas within Walsall throughout the funding process.

Walsall Strategic Fundraising Group
The Walsall Strategic Fund Raising Group was set up to encourage public and voluntary sector organisations in Walsall to work collaboratively in increasing the amount of funding identified, applied for and secured in Walsall. The group aims to;
- Bring together a range of partners, with fund raising expertise, to ensure co-ordination of funding applications across the Borough
- Share information relating to developing / existing programmes / projects which are funded by external grants
- Share information on external grants which have been notified to a partner organisation
- Meet monthly for the first three months and bi-monthly thereafter
- Feedback outcomes / actions from each meeting to their relevant governance structure
- Produce an annual report of progress, which will be presented to each partners’ governance structure and to Walsall Partnership Board
- Identify and share potential funding streams
- Create and maintain relationships with key funding agencies
- Act as the conduit for Walsall Partnership approval of support for bids
