About the crèche
We welcome all children from the ages of 4 months to 5 years old. All parents must complete an information sheet will full details of their child before they will be admitted to the crèche, stating any allergies they may have. Parents must sign their child in the crèche register, stating the time the child is left and sign out with the time when the child is collected.
No other person will be allowed to sign a child out other than the parent/carer who signed child in.
Where there are two sessions of the crèche it will be necessary to state what session is required upon booking. Subject to availability it is possible to book children in for the two sessions.
No child will be left in the crèche until it is properly set out with the necessary equipment.
We would ask all parents/carers to co-operate with us and not to give their child sweets or crisps to be consumed during the crèche times as this may cause problems with the children who do not have them or are to young to consume such items.
The children will be given a drink of diluted squash together with a plain biscuit. The parent/carer may bring their own drink bottle if preferred.
If any child remains too upset for a long period of time and seems inconsolable, or their behaviour is unacceptable in accordance with the behaviour policy, we reserve the right to call out the parent/carer from the activity tended.
Parents / carers of children in the creche must be using the facilities and on site. Under no circumstances should the parent / carer leave the site.
