Unified list of contractors and consultants
The council is keen to encourage local businesses to tender for council contracts and maintains a list of approved contractors and consultants with whom the various services within the council are able to trade. There are around 1650 organisations approved covering six main categories of work :
- Civil Engineering
- Building
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Specialist Works
- Environment Works
that include approximately 165 further sub-categories. If you would like to apply to be an approved contractor or consultant you can request an application form for the unified list.
