Customer Satisfaction Questionnaire
Walsall Council Planning Service is calling on its customers to help them improve services by taking part in a key questionnaire.
Around 1000 Walsall planning customers who had a planning application determined between 1st April 2007 and 31st March 2008 will receive an annual questionnaire to obtain their views of the service they have recently received from the Planning Team at Walsall Council. The feedback will enable the Planning Service to identify what customers think about the service and importantly what they wish to see improved further.
It asks customers for their views of the service received when applying for planning permission, as well as their impressions of customer care and service delivery.
The questionnaire also researches overall satisfaction with the service, and the extent to which customers feel that the service is delivered to a good standard.
The service is committed to treating all sections of the community fairly and equally and in order to asses whether the service is accessible, and tailored to the needs of all, in regard to age, gender, ethnicity, religion, lifestyle or disability, and therefore a few equality related questions have been included at the end of the questionnaire.
David Elsworthy, Head of Planning and Building Control said;
“Walsall Council is committed to listening to what people want and improving services for every customer. What you say will help us shape the way the planning service is provided in Walsall in the future and therefore feedback of this kind is vital”.
“It is not compulsory that the equality related questions are answered, but it would greatly assist in enabling us to assess who is using the service and to plan improvements to make the Planning Service more accessible to all.”
Should you receive a planning questionnaire, please complete it and return it no later than 6th November 2008.
