Maps of Walsall explored in history talk

If you’ve ever been interested in researching your family history or finding out more about the history of the borough, a talk at Walsall Museum may be of interest to you.
Local studies librarian Cath Yates from Walsall’s Local History Centre will be at the Museum’s new gallery, The Changing Face of Walsall on Tuesday 2 December to talk through the range of map-based resources available for family and local history research and answer any questions.
The talk will take place at the Museum from 2pm to 4pm. It’s free of charge to attend, but spaces are limited so please phone or call in in advance to ensure a place is available.

This is the first in a series of talks from staff at the Local History Centre about the resources available there for local and family history research.
There will be a talk on Tuesday 6 January 2009 on Family History, a talk on Tuesday 3 February 2009 on Resources at the Local History Centre and at talk on Tuesday 3 March 2009 on the Photographic Time Machine.
All talks take place in The Changing Face of Walsall.
