Fundraisers can still get their hands on tickets for an Irish night, organised by the Mayor of Walsall, to benefit two important local charities.
Walsall Town Hall will host the September 12 2008 event which boasts a dazzling display of Irish dancing among its highlights.
People can choose from £20 tickets to include a delicious supper of Irish stew and soda bread or £10 tickets for gallery seating only.
The Mayor of Walsall, Councillor Tom Ansell, said: “I’m really looking forward to this super night of entertainment while raising money for my chosen charities which are Golden Wishes and Walsall Hospice.
“Tickets are still available and I am really looking forward to welcoming people to what promises to be a great night for my charities.”
Pat Brennan & The Hurling Boys will provide musical entertainment and the Sylvia Murphy-Brennan Dance Academy of Music, Song & Dance will stage a traditional display of Irish dancing.
A reception will be held at 7.00pm with the meal at 7.30pm. A licensed bar will be available and the dress code is smart casual.
Reservations can be made with the Mayor’s Office on 01922 652072 or by calling into the Mayor’s Parlour at the Council House, Lichfield Street, Walsall.
