Organisations willing to help with your complaint

You may wish to talk to someone first who is independent to help you sort out your ideas, put your complaint in writing or perhaps just to give you an independent point of view.

The following are some of the local organisations you can contact for help:

Adult's helpful organisations

Citizens Advice Bureau

The Citizens Advice Bureau is a voluntary organisation which can offer advice to the general public on a wide range of problems.

Age Concern Walsall

Age Concern promotes the welfare of older people and has developed an advocacy service in Walsall to help older people, their carers or representatives to complain to social care if they are unhappy about the services they receive. Age Concern also offer an advocacy service for people with physical disabilities, mental health problems or learning disabilities.

The Service Users Council has been established to represent the interests of people with disabilities or with mental health problems.

Shelter has years of experience of helping people in need of housing and advising people on the phone.  This is done through a network of Housing Aid Centres and via an Advice Online web service.
