Performance Management
We monitor and manage the performance of children’s services with the aim of achieving continuous improvement and better meeting the needs of children and young people in the borough.
Walsall’s children’s services are measured on their performance against a large number of statutory and local indicators.
Our Performance Management Officer works from the council’s performance and outcomes team, liaising closely with the Children’s Trust and with other partners to collect, collate, and report accurate performance data throughout the year.
As well as this we contribute to the setting of targets and to the production of evidence and supporting material for the Children’s Plan and the Annual Performance Assessment.
