New college courses

Walsall’s College of Continuing Education has a whole host of new courses to help everyone improve their cooking, sewing and dancing.

A wide range of courses, both day time and evening, are being held at a range of venues around the borough.

They include Spanish and Spanish cuisine on Mondays from 10am to noon at Bentley People’s Partnership, Wing Close; Japanese sewing crafts at Blakenall Church Hall on Fridays from 2pm to 4pm and Bollywood dancing at the Whitehall Centre on Saturdays from 11.30pm to 1pm.

Other sessions include yoga, Mendhi, flower arranging, football coaching, musical theatre and salsa/street dancing.

Colin Bedford, vice principal, said: “We really do have an exciting range of courses that have influences from around the world.

“Any person who wants to expand their skills or learn a new one is welcome to come along. Just give us a call for more information.”
