You can borrow from a wide and varied selection of DVDs from the Central Library, Darlaston, Willenhall and Beechdale Libraries. Children's DVDs are also available from Blakenall Library.

Charges

Hire charges vary from £1.00 to £2.50 per item, depending on the category of film.
This charge is made to help finance the service.
Further hire charges are due if items are returned late.

Loan Periods Vary:

2 Night Loan - for the latest feature films - £2.50
7 Day Loan - for older films - £1.50
7 Day Loan - for children’s films - £1.00
28 Day Loan - for documentaries - for price contact library

Suggestion Service

There is a suggestion for purchase service available for DVDs not in stock.

Music Compact Discs

We offer a wide and varied selection of CDs for you to borrow. These are available from the Central Library, Darlaston, Bloxwich, Aldridge, Beechdale and Pleck Libraries. CDs are also available from the Mobile Library.

You can borrow:
Pop, R&B, Indie, NuPunk, Garage, NuMetal, Hip Hop, Rock, Jazz, Reggae, Blues, Country Folk, World Music, Easy Listening, Nostalgia, Classical and Asian

Some popular new releases will not be available immediately due to legal reasons.

Charges

Charges vary according to your library ticket category –

Borrowers 13-17 years 35p per item
Borrowers 18+ years 70p per item
Borrowers 60+ years 35p per item
Leisure Card Holders 35p per item
Registered Blind 35p per item

You can borrow CDs for 28 Days.

Request Service / Suggestion Service

You can request any item already in stock by visiting a Library, which offers a recorded music service and paying a reservation fee. You can also offer suggestions for future purchases.
