Healthy schools loan collection
What is it?
A comprehensive loan collection of books, posters, videos, DVDs, and resource boxes for use in the delivery of PHSE and Citizenship 3-18 in Walsall schools.
It also includes books for the use of teachers and other professionals.
The resources have been purchased with advice from Walsall Healthy Schools Scheme and are managed by Walsall SLSS staff.
Themes covered include
- Behaviour management
- Healthy eating
- Circle time
- Physical activity
- Citizenship
- PHSE
- Drugs, alcohol and tobacco
- Safety
- Emotional health and wellbeing
- Sex and relationships
Who can borrow from the collection?
- Anyone working with pupils in Walsall – teachers, school nurses, learning mentors, NNEB’s, educational psychologists, arts workers etc.
- 10+ items per term can be loaned. These can be returned at any time when SLSS is open.
- Any items can be booked up to a year in advance by phone email or fax to Walsall SLSS
