Adult swimming lessons

Age should not be a barrier if you want to learn to swim, that is why we have no age restrictions on enrolment onto our adult swimming courses.

Our programme is designed for adults who lack water confidence and are non-swimmers, confident swimmers who want to improve their technique, and also for adults who can swim but want to work on skills and stamina - so there are classes to suit all.

The course also gives you the opportunity to achieve distance awards and acheive a number of Adult Skill awards if you wish to do so.

The maximum number for enrolment on our courses is 24 and your swimming instructor will plan the lessons in advance, however these may be adjusted to suit the individual needs of swimmers if needed.

Everyone who enrols onto an adult swim course will receive a course handbook at the start of each course. This advises of any bank holidays or closures and also gives pool asfety advice to the individual.

Lesson costs are based on £4.20 per lesson the course will run for a complete term ( e.g. September - December).
