Employee assistance programme

Our employee assistance programme is an attractive employee benefit but also offers professional and effective solutions to assist staff in resolving issues of stress or personal problems and to aid the council in achieving its objectives in the areas of safety,
health and wellbeing, performance and risk management.

The programme provides 24 hour, 365 day telephone support to employees, councillors, their partners and dependent families an unlimited number and length of telephone calls to a freephone telephone service (08000 28 28 50) in a range of languages, and via textphone (08000 85 47 39).
