Information for six or more people in a property and clinical waste collections
In the new system the council will collect 140 litres of household rubbish (non recyclable waste) contained within a wheeled bin each week. The only exceptions to this policy are as follows
- There are six or more people in permanent residence at the property.
- There are large quantities of non hazardous medical waste generated.
If you meet the above criteria and wish to apply for a larger bin please complete the form which applies to your personal circumstances below.
If you are already registered with the council and are currently receiving either service, you must still re-apply for the larger grey bin.
Where this is the case we will exchange the 140 litre grey bin for a 240 litre grey bin free of charge.
