Agents and Developers Evening Seminar 9 October 2008

Planning Services Agents Event 09-10-08The event was held on 9 October 2008 at the Leather Museum, Walsall and proved a success with the attendance of around 40 developers and agents.

With presentations from David Elsworthy (Head of Planning and Building Control), Neville Ball (Householder Team Leader), John Danahay (Planning Portal Account Manager) and Mike Brereton (Monitoring Officer) which gave developers and agents the opportunity to discuss the changes to householder permitted development rights, on-line submission of planning applications via the Planning Portal, customer satisfaction questionnaire and the chance to convey ideas to improve the service as a whole or raise any concerns they had.

The event was held on 16 May 2007 at the Council House

This was a sucessful event with the attendance of 20 Developers and Agents which gave the opportunity to comment on the planning application process and the chance to convey to the Chair of the Development Control Committee and officers ideas to improve the service or raise any concerns they had.

Planning applications update; online applications and Design Policy 4 October 2006

John Danahay - Planning PortalThe event was held on the 4 October 2006 at the Walsall Leather Museum.

The online applications and design policy event was a sucessful evening. A great turn out of 32 planning agents, 6 council officers and a representative from the Planning Portal.

John Danahay (Planning Portal Regional Account Manager) who has said that due to the event we have seen an increase in the amount of planning applications submitted online.
