Local Neighbourhood Partnerships

Walsall Borough Strategic Partnership (WBSP) is running nine Local Neighbourhood Partnerships (LNPs) in the borough to work with local residents to discuss and make progress on key community issues.

The meetings with the council and its partners will help local people to be more involved in matters that affect them in the area where they live.

Please see the menu on the right for the 9 LNP areas and click on your area for details of meetings you can attend to influence decision making. By attending these meetings you will have access to your local councillors, as well as the council's partners:

  • Education Walsall
  • West Midlands Police
  • West Midlands Fire Service
  • Walsall Housing Partnership
  • Walsall teaching Primary Care Trust

Recruiting now

Some of the LNP areas are still recruiting local people to sit on the board as Locally Appointed Partners (LAPs). You will be working alongside local residents, partner organisations and councillors to tackle issues in your area. If you are a community activist, representing local organisations, and wish to sit on your LNP, you will be asked to fill in a nomination form and return it to the LNP team.

For a nomination pack or more information on LNPs please view the how to get involved page.

Round 'n' About

The second edition of your Local Neighbourhood Partnership Magazine is now available to download here. As you can see, the magazine now has a name, so a big thank you to everyone who entered our competition to name the magazine and congratulations to Clare Lunn from Pelsall, who was the competition winner.
