Markets

Walsall Council operates markets at Walsall, Willenhall, Bloxwich and Darlaston. We are committed to the effective management, development and promotion of the council markets, in partnership with our stallholders to provide a quality shopping option for the 21st century.

Most stalls are already let to permanent traders via a daily licence granted after a successful offer on a stall, however, we always try to accommodate casual traders with any vacant stalls available on that day, with a view to a permanent stall in the future. For more information please see how to apply for a stall.

Latest news

From 21 July 2006, Walsall Friday market stalls will be reduced to £25 each for a period of three months. If the uptake of stalls increases it will be a permanent fixture.

Bloxwich Market will be opening on a Tuesday from 8 August 2006 with stalls priced at £15. This will also be for a trial period of three months, if it proves to be successful this will become a permanent market day.
