Date Published : 08 February 2010
Residents in Willenhall and Darlaston are being urged to do their bit to tidy up their communities by taking part in a series of clean up days organised by Walsall Council and partner agencies.
It is part of an ongoing joint initiative by several agencies including Walsall Council's Street Pride, Walsall Housing Group, West Midlands Probation Service Community Payback team and Local Neighbourhood Partnerships to tidy up the borough and stamp out problems such as flytipping.
Walsall Housing Group has arranged for skips to be made available free of charge at set locations in Willenhall on 11 February and Darlaston on 12 and 18 February. Litter hit squads will also be out and about helping with the tidy up.
