Potted Pirates

Shiver me timbers - it's a Potted Pirates treat.

Nautical but nice CBBC presenters Dan & Jeff are setting sail for Walsall to present Potted Pirates - an hour-long treat of comedy, dance and song celebrating the adventurers of the seven seas.

The Spring 2010 tour of Potted Pirates will be dropping anchor at Forest Arts Centre on Wednesday 17 February and the double act promise a breathtaking show that will appeal to all ages.

Dan & Jeff (Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner) will be going in search of talking parrots and buried treasure, while teaching the audience everything they need to know about pirates through a lightning series of scene changes.

Simon Pugh, Walsall Council performing and creative arts officer, said: "This promises to be a fabulous hour packed to the bows with comedy, songs and fascinating facts.

"Dan & Jeff are a real hit on their BBC 1 show and we're delighted they're coming to Walsall. They are the duo behind Potted Potter which whistled through Harry Potter in about 70 minutes and they are fantastic performers."
