What has gone well in Streetly CAP
- A sub group has been established to address the location and development of the children's centre for the area. A series of site visits is currently being organised to inform the final decision.
- A young people's council is currently being formed as a sub group to steer and inform the CAP group.
- Improvements for advertising services for young people and engagement with young people have been explored. These include a detached youth worker; web sites (including the Walsall children's Service Directory); promotional information issued by the police; liaising with neighbourhood watch; liaising with the fire service and their youth programme; liaising with the Local Neighbourhood Partnership (LNP) and their young people's agenda; information points in schools.
