Scheme Description
The first phase of work will see the transformation of one of the former Reedswood Tennis courts by installing a new multi-sports basketball and football facility with ball-stop fencing and a new tarmac surface.
In addition, the existing brick shelter (shown above) is to be replaced with a new youth shelter to be located adjacent to the new sports facility.
Further funding is currently being sought to complete the second phase of planned improvements on the second tennis court, which will be carried out at a later date.
In addition to this scheme, further improvements are currently being planned to restore and regenerate Reedswood Park and its facilities following a successful SRB 5 award.
