Police cycle training

Since first being approached by Brownhills Police in December 2004, Walsall Council's Road Safety and Sustainable Travel Team has trained over 30 Police Officers from Brownhills, Bloxwich and Willenhall. The one day course trains officers in setting up their bike, basic bike handling, practical on and off road sessions, traffic laws and basic maintenance.

The Police in turn assist Walsall Council by helping Road Safety Officers in schools to get across the road safety message, and in assisting in events such as the Watling Street School cycle ride.
