24 hour service / 7 days a week, including public holidays
This borough wide, multi-agency jointly managed team operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and responds to all mental health queries, including people in mental health crisis. It provides immediate advice and intervention. It includes the Approved Social Worker out of hours rota (i.e. it arranges statutory Mental Health Act assessments), assesses people in police custody and people in the local General Hospital who have harmed themselves. It aims to respond rapidly and work toward crisis resolution.
