Brownhills Project Reference Group
Purpose
A Project Reference Group (PRG), established by the council and its partners, operates to guide and deliver the regeneration of Brownhills as part of the Strategic Regeneration Framework (SRF).
In practice this involves the PRG:
- Receiving reports from the project team
- Commenting on emerging plans and strategies
- Advising on how to consult the local community
- Providing feedback to the local community
To date the PRG have helped appoint a consultancy team and assisted officers in developing and consulting upon proposals for the Brownhills Environmental Strategy (August 2008).
Membership and meetings
The PRG is a local group formed of local councillors, members of the Local Neighbourhood Partnership (LNP), and trader, business and community representatives and is support by council and whg officers. The PRG is chaired by a member of the LNP.
The PRG meets bi-monthly.

Meetings in 2010 are scheduled to take place at the Park View Centre on:

- Housing 21 scheme
- Tesco redevelopment scheme
- Brownhills Transport Package
