Walsall Land Availability Survey - Call For Sites
Planning consultancy Roger Tym & Partners has been appointed by Walsall Council to carry out a study relating to land for housing, factories/warehouses and sites for gypsies/travellers/travelling showpeople in the borough of Walsall.
One purpose of the study is to provide up-to-date information on development opportunities. We are inviting interested parties to put forward possible sites for new housing, factories/warehouses or pitches for gypsies/travellers/ travelling showpeople.
Sites may be located anywhere in the borough. For housing sites, there is a minimum site size threshold of 0.25 hectares (0.62 acres) outside of the town/district centres. There is no minimum site size threshold for housing sites within town/district centres, or for factory/warehouse sites or pitches for gypsies/travellers/travelling showpeople anywhere in the borough.
The survey does not cover land for other uses, such as retail, leisure and offices.

The deadline for submissions is Friday, 3 July 2009. Late submissions will only be considered at the Council’s discretion. So, if you expect to make a late submission, please notify the Council or Roger Tym & Partners as soon as possible.
