For us to understand how we can help improve Walsall as a place to live work and play, we may occasionally ask for your help. This section will let you know of any community consultation we are currently undertaking as well as previous results.
Goscote Lane Corridor consultation events
Goscote Lane Corridor Masterplan Design Guide
As part of the SRF1 programme, a team of architects have prepared a Masterplan Design Guide which will help shape the delivery of future housing across the eight sites in Goscote Lane Corridor.
The masterplan explores a number of proposals and principles for the development of approximately 900 new homes in thearea including the layout of roads, public open space and canal-side improvements.
Residents are urged to have their say on the plans by attending a consultation day organised on Thursday 25 February 2010 from 4pm to 7pm and Saturday 27 February 2010 from 11am to 3pm where more details on the proposals will be available. Both will take place at Harden Primary School, off Masefield Road, with children’s entertainment also available on the Saturday.
The exhibition boards and feedback form can also be viewed below. Deadline for submission of feedback forms is 12th March 2010.
