Outdoor pursuits
Walsall outdoor pursuits is an AALA (adventurous Activities Licensing Authority) registered together with RYA RTC (Royal yachting Association registered training centre) with RYA sailability foundation status.
All staff are governing body qualified or with in house competency.
The 2006 programme will include additional activities at our new Aldridge airport site including a high and low level ropes course, climbing, abseiling plus land yachting and archery as the site develops.

Activities
Activities are offered to schools (curricular & extra Curricular) and community groups, youth groups and play schemes some of theses activities include;
- Canoeing, Kayaking held at Sneyd Lake during the winter months these activities take place after school in an indoor swimming pool.
- Sailing and rafting held at Sneyd Lake .
- Orienteering is held at Sutton park
- Mountain biking (under 12s only)
- Windsurfing (over 12s only)
Our sailing fleet includes a fleet on dinghies designed specifically for people with learning and/ or physical disabilities with a hoist system in place for wheelchair users.
