Eco-Schools is a European environment award programme for schools.
The Eco-Schools programme provides a simple framework to enable schools to analyse its operations and become more sustainable and reducing the environmental impact of the whole school on the community.
Pupil involvement is a key part of the Eco-Schools programme and the projects provide clear focal points for work across the whole school.
It is also an award scheme that will raise the profile of the school in the wider community.
