Cricket

Through providing various levels of support, Walsall Cricket Development is committed to ensuring that both children and adults have the opportunity to participate in cricket activity at all levels. We provide coaching opportunities, club links and pathways to progression that enable cricketers to fit into the appropriate stage of the system.
Working in partnership with the Black Country Partnership and the ECB, the Walsall Cricket Development Group aims to raise the profile of the sport by exposing the game to as many children as possible.
Cricket camps
During school holidays cricket activities often take place at venues around the borough. For up to date information contact the cricket development officer on 01902 605500.

Pathways to Progression
Excellence Pathway

Walsall Cricket Development provides opportunities for young players by running Borough squads at under - 11, 13 and 15 level. The concept helps to bridge the gap between club and county cricket.
Trials for Walsall Borough squads will take place before the start of the season and will be communicated to both schools and clubs.
