Walsall on the move
This section gives you an insight into the co-ordination of the development of physical activity opportunities. The group is a multi agency steering group which co-ordinates activity projects and developments. It reports into both the Local Authority and Walsall tPCT. as well as Walsall's Community Activity Network (CAN). This section identifies the role, remit and make up of this group, as well as some of the projects that run and reporting procedures for the group.
To establish a comprehensive picture of existing physical activity/exercise and obesity reduction/prevention projects.
To identify and highlight priority areas and gaps in present provision for physical activity/exercise projects within the Walsall borough.
To develop a comprehensive plan, co-ordinate and monitor future physical activity/exercise projects.
