A mobile interactive exhibition about childhood.
Museum on the Move is a mobile museum touring this region:
- Fully accessible vehicle
- Games and toys
- Interactive exhibits
- Shows how children were treated in the past
- Triggers childhood memories
- Education interpreters accompany each visit to enhance learning
The exhibition is available from 15 March 2010 until 18 February 2011.
Walsall Museums Service is keen to see Museum on the Move reaching a wide audience, with the aim of encouraging borough residents to come on board, learn about their local culture and have some fun.
Do you have an event or venue that you would like the Museum on the Move to visit?
It's 'free' to community groups, care homes and similar organisations. Educational visits for schools are charged at £50 for a half day or £90 for a full day.
