The dramatic world of theatre is flourishing at Forest Arts Centre. Our Senior (13-19) Youth Theatre group was formed in 2005/06 with a debut run of "Fame" They have since gone on to great performances of "Broadway", “A Slice of Saturday Night”, “High School Musical” and “Annie”.
The Junior (8-13) Youth Theatre group debuted in 2007, with their first show "Jungle Book" followed by “Alice in Wonderland”.
Our drama only group have specialised with performing excerpts from Shakespeare’s famous works such as A Midsummer Nights Dream (abridged) and performances at the Shakespeare Youth Festival.
The Youth Theatre groups rehearse every Wednesday with performances in Spring & Autumn.
If you interested in setting up an adult theatre group then Forest is an ideal venue for rehearsal and performance. Look out for future new developments and shows as Forest expands it’s Theatre department.
