Our Digital Arts Studio is fully equipped with the industry standard Avid non-linear editing equipment plus multiple cameras, tripods, dolly’s, booms, etc and state of the art digital location sound recording equipment. Add to that our amazing chroma keying “green screen” technology and you have everything an aspiring film maker could need!
Forest Digital Arts operates both as a production house and training facility. Our production team has produced documentaries and short films for a variety of users and the local community.
Forest Arts Centre has both its own 24-track analogue and Pro-Tools digital sound recording suite on the first-floor of our Music department. This offers our users the latest technology and flexibility in hardware and sound engineering.The studios have an in-house technician fully versed in digital arts, film making, studio techniques and sound recording.
The recording studio works in conjunction with other digital arts to provide film soundtracks, sound effects, surround sound, and quality mixes for film and documentaries produced in house. Forest provides a comprehensive,high quality, digital arts service based in the heart of the community.
