Jobshop weekly
Job Shop is Walsall Council's vacancy bulletin. It is published on a weekly basis and is a compilation of advertisements for available vacancies with the Authority. Job Shop Weekly is produced on Monday each week (except for weeks following a Bank Holiday) and is widely distributed throughout the borough. It is displayed in the Civic Centre First Stop Shop, Leisure Centres, Libraries and local schools. It is also distributed to local community groups and Jobcentres.

Join us at our next Support Into Jobs event which is being held on Wednesday 27 January 2010 from 10am to 4pm at Brownhills Park View Centre, Chester Road North, Brownhills, Walsall WS8 7JB.
The event is an ideal opportunity to find out about job vacancies at the council and elsewhere in the borough and to speak to advisors about applying for work and preparing for interviews. Advice and support will be available to help you get back into work, such as information on childcare, transport, training, in-work benefits and more. There will also be free briefings throughout the day including advice on completing application forms and being successful at interviews.
Further recruitment events are being organised. On 17 March 2010 Support Into Jobs will be held at Willenhall Chart Centre, Gomer Street, Willenhall.
