Are you a jobseeker with a disability?

Walsall Council would like to offer you the chance to join the Jobseekers Network, a job search support service for people with disabilities.
As part of the jobseekers network, you will:
Receive a copy of Jobshop Weekly each week
The Jobshop Weekly contains advertisements for all current vacancies within Walsall Council. It also contains information on vacancies at Walsall schools.
Have the opportunity to attend a jobseekers seminar
The seminars offer support and advice on the recruitment process, from where to look for jobs to filling in the application form and finally, how to prepare for a successful interview.
Access ‘Job Tasters’
You will also have the opportunity to attend one-day ‘job tasters’ within a range of service areas throughout the Council such as finance, catering or administration. The tasters will involve spending a day with staff to see what a typical day in your chosen area of work would be like.
