Provider Information
The Provider Forum is attended by representatives from organisations that provide supporting people services to vulnerable service users in Walsall. The group meets monthly and providers discuss common issues. The forum also acts as a consultative body for the Supporting People Service.Reviews of policies and procedures that affect providers are developed with the input of the provider forum, for example, we have recently worked together to develop the Service Review Report format. All providers of Supporting People services are welcome to attend the meetings.

The Provider Forum has a set Terms of Reference which details the relationship of the group within the governance structure of the programme, the role of the members and the powers of the group. The Provider Forum Terms of Reference have been revised.
The Provider Forum now meet on a monthly basis and the next scheduled meeting is:

Supporting People have introduced a newsletter for service providers, the purpose of the newsletter is to keep you informed about what is happening locally, regionally and nationally. The newsletter will be produced on a quarterly basis.

Service Reviews 2009/2010
The 2009/2010 service review programme to review services funded by Walsall Supporting People started in September 2009. Walsall Supporting People Service will contact each service to notify them when they need to complete and return the Quality Assessment Framework (QAF) Service Self Assessment Form.
