Can I smoke at my place of work?
If you are employed in any of the premises that come under the smokefree legislation, you can not smoke inside your place of work.
Smoking rooms are no longer permitted. Your employer may provide a smoking shelter outside the premises for staff to smoke in. However, your employer is not legally obliged to provide a smoking shelter or outdoor smoking area.
You should speak to your employer if you are unsure about how the smokefree law affects you in your work place.
