Composting

There is a great deal of concern about the environment today and home composting is a practical way to reduce the amount of waste that you put into your rubbish bin.
Composting is an inexpensive, natural process that transforms your kitchen and garden waste into a valuable food for your garden. Finished compost is great for using on flowerbeds, vegetable plots and for mixing into planters.
Walsall Council is working in partnership with the Waste Resources Action Programme (WRAP) to help residents of Walsall to buy home composting bins at a reduced cost.
- A 220 litre compost bin (height 90cm, diameter 74 cm) costs £17
- A 330 litre compost bin (height 100cm, diameter 80cm) costs £20
Delivery is free on all 3 items.
