Did you know you can purchase a full search on your residential property for £131.50 and even pay online
Full residential searches
We now offer a full residential local authority search with the option to provide a full Severn Trent Water Authority search and/or a full Coal Authority search in one transaction at one point. This means you make one payment - cheque payable to Walsall Council.
You can submit one cheque that combines the cost of all three searches which will be returned as a complete package direct to you or you can now order online. There is no need to submit Coal Authority or Severn Trent Water forms, we will do this for you.

Optional Enquiries Fees
In addition to the above search, you can purchase optional enquiries.
*Cancellation of searches
If cancellation is notified within two working days following receipt of a search, the fee will be refunded, less an administrative fee of £50. No money will be reimbursed if notification occurs after 3.30pm on the second working day after receipt of search. For the avoidance of doubt the day receipt of the search will count as the first working day. Please e-mail LocalLandCharges@walsall.gov.uk with your cancellation request.
