RADAR Key

The National Key Scheme (NKS) offers disabled people independent access to around 7,000 locked public toilets around the country. Most people call the special keys RADAR keys.
Accessible toilet are vital to many disabled people who often do not have a choice about where they can can go to the toilet. These people include:
- wheelchair users
- blind or visually impaired people with guide dogs
- people with a carer
- people with dementia who cannot be on their own.
The National Key Scheme (NKS) means that only people who have a special key can use the accessible toilets. It tries to stop the misuse and damaging of accessible public toilets.
RADAR keys for disabled people cost £3-50 including delivery. You do not pay VAT if you declare you have a disability.
