Performance Data 2008/09
In October 2007, as part of the Comprehensive Spending Review (CSR) the Government announced a new single set of 198 national indicators for English local authorities and local authority partnerships.
Local authorities and their partners are required to report to their citizens on their performance.
Performance against the 198 indicators will be published by the Audit Commission as part of the Comprehensive Area Assessment (CAA) for every Local Area Agreement (LAA). Further information on the CAA and the national indicator set can be found on the Audit Commission's website.
Following the deletion of 10 indicators earlier this year, there are now 188 indicators remaining.
