Complaints annual reports

Tell Us annual report 2006/07 (corporate complaints)

The Tell Us Annual Report (PDF 3MB) sets out details relating to the council’s corporate, council-wide complaints procedures, called Tell Us, for the twelve months from 1 April 2006 to 31 March 2007, providing comparative figures for the two previous years, 2004/05 and 2005/06 where these are available.

During 2006/07, the council received, registered and dealt with 1,256 complaints, an increase of 67% on the previous year, reflecting the higher profile that has been achieved for complaints handling, both within the council and within the community.

This report includes detailed analyses of these figures, and also sets out key actions for the year ahead, 2007/08.

Social Care complaints Annual Reports 2008/09 (Adult Services and Children's Services)

The Local Authority Social Services Act 1970, as amended by the NHS and Community Care Act 1990, requires the production of annual reports on the statutory complaints and representations proceedures.

Two reports have been produced, Adult Social Care Annual Report  2008/9 (PDF 74.9KB) and Children's Services Annual Report 2008/9 (PDF 59.5KB), both for the period 1 April 2008 to 31 March 2009.
