Your Issues
The LNP team have recently been distributing One Off Issues forms around the borough, for residents to complete, to resolve any local issues they may have. All issues sent to us are viewed at a monthly local services meeting where representatives from key agencies such as the police, housing associations and various council departments are present. A solution to the issues will be sought and acted upon by the relevant agency or, if needed, by a number of these partners.
If you have an issue which you would like to see resolved, please get in touch with the team to receive your One Off Issues form, or, alternatively, fill it in on-line.
We will monitor progress on your behalf and feed the results back to you. We can’t guarantee to find a solution but we will make sure that every effort is made by the relevant agencies. Some problems can be fixed quite quickly, others take longer. For straightforward issues, our turn around time is 4 to 8 weeks. More complex issues can take longer.
Some Solutions so far
Residents complained about serious antisocial behaviour and thefts in their street. WHG installed and monitored a CCTV camera and police increased high visibility patrols. Police will look to change ASBO conditions if any re-offending occurs.
Mr H from the Butts had people parking on the grass verge in front of his house. Six years of trying and the problem still wasn’t solved. After Mr H talked to us we asked Street Pride for a solution. They told us that bollards would work well so we got funding and the bollards are now in place. All told it took 6 months.
