Death certificates
If you need a copy of a death certificate for a death that occurred in Walsall and has already been registered you should apply to the Walsall Register Office in person, by letter or by completing our application form for a death certificate and sending it back to us at the address below.
The cost of a copy death certificate in a closed register is £7.00. If the entry is in a current register the cost of each certificate is £3.50. If you are writing into Walsall Register Office your cheque or postal order should be made payable to ‘Superintendent Registrar’ and a stamped addressed envelope (or an international reply coupon if you are overseas) should be included with your application.
