The community development team have in recent years gained some commendable achievements, these include:

The community development and local neighbourhood partnership team along with community organisations have been forging closer working relationships, by opening and strengthening a communications dialogue. Community organisations are working with the Local Neighbourhood Partnership team to assist in the production of neighbourhood agreements which are integral to the implementation and delivery of local priorities, thereby contributing to the council’s vision and its priorities.
Community and voluntary organisations are visionaries in their ability to think outside the box in order to provide challenging and exciting provisions for their communities. They welcome opportunities presented by Walsall Community Plan and Local Area Agreements and the Local Neighbourhood Partnership.
