Joint Area Review (JAR)
My Walsall, My Future
What is the Joint Area Review?
“The joint area review (JAR) is a three-year programme running until December 2008 and all 150 local authority areas will have one joint area review during this time.
Joint Area Reviews set out to describe the outcomes achieved by children and young people growing up in the area, and evaluate the way local services, taken together, contribute to their well-being.” [Ofsted]
Walsall's Joint Area Review was carried out by Ofsted and other inspectorates between 28 January and 8 February 2008.
