Participation and Consultation
Our role is to lead on the participation and consultation activities for the Children and Young People’s Trust partnership.
This entails developing robust strategies and mechanisms to effectively coordinate and record all participation and consultation activities which are undertaken throughout the Children and Young People’s Trust agencies, so ensuring that children and young people’s views are incorporated into our decision making processes and recorded effectively.
We coordinate these activities by working in partnership with partner agencies through the Strategic Participation Group and Participation Network. Key pieces of work developed by these groups are the Children and Young People’s Trust Multi Agency Participation and Consultation Strategy and action plan, the Participation Charter and Quality Assurance Document.
