Walsall market
Walsall Market is regarded to all local folk as the traditional heart of the town, and has been in existence since 1219. The market has a fantastic reputation throughout the West Midlands and has a wonderful choice of stalls.
The market is set out in three sections comprising of 90 stalls, some 3 m (10 feet) and some 3.7 m (12 feet), there are also four tables.
A balanced market is in operation on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. One line of goods per section gives each trader the chance to earn a decent living and also gives a fair balance to the market.
The market is held every Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday and a craft, antique and bric-a-brac market on Wednesdays (9.30am - 3.30pm).
The market is open 9am - 4pm (4.30pm on Saturdays) on these days and basic charges for stalls range from £15.70 - £35.80.
