Adult Learn to swim lessons
Age should not be a barrier is you want to learn to swim, that is why we have no age restrictions on enrolment onto our adult swimming lessons.
Our programmes are designed for adults who lack water confidence and are non swimmers. We also cater for confident swimmers who want to improve their technique and also for adults who can swim but want to work on skills and stamina - so there are classes for everyone!!!
The courses also give you the opportunity to achieve distance awards or achieve a number of Adult Skills awards if you wish to do so.
The maximum number to enrol on our courses are 24. Lessons are planned in advance by swimming instructors but will adapt their plans to suit individual needs within the group.
Everybody who enrol's on our adult swimming course will receive a course handbook at the start of each new term. This gives a schedule of the courses, alerts you to any bank holidays or closures and gives pool safety advice for the individual.
Courses are priced at £4.20 per lesson and are based on term times (e.g. September to December 15 weeks).
